Review by Andrea
Sarah Davachi and Ariel Kalma blend their strong individual personalities in a single trip on the edge of time. Their kosmiche music is pure, magnificent and elegant, an intergalactic hypnosis that seems to tell of distant times, a millenary vortex of a lost Era. In the first phase of departure, the mysterious song of the sax winds in archaic echoes, supported by the electronic inlays of the synth (Arp Odissey). Flowing between space rumbles and astral progressions, we sight high celestial bodies. When the infinite drones of the tampura start, we take part in the night ceremonial, surrounded by the deep harmonium and the Tibetan bell chimes. This music releases a sort of mythological warmth, secret codes of a lost purity, which lets us dwell in the labyrinths of a pyramid or in the sacred space of a cosmic pagoda.

Ariel story:
I met Sarah Davachi in Vancouver, 2015. She was opening for Robert A. A. Lowe and I. I was mesmerised by Sarah’s droning violin and synth work, and when I heard she would tour Australia I invited her to come and record with me… she did... Sarah Davachi brought a Harp Odyssey synthesiser and a looper. I thought it would be interesting to mix a tempura for harmonics, a harmonium for drones, my saxophones for melodies, keyborard/laptop/Ableton/plugins for effects; this album is what we did.. in one day… the Good Vibes were there…!
