Magical 70s

Imagining The Dreaming

A lot happened during my formative 70s: improvising in churches, alt-rock bands, 74-75 India by land, a cathedral, Studios GRM. I was quietly recording my compositions, stored for 45 years on analog ¼” tapes, then digitized and remastered. What a journey!

1. Entrance Delay Short, 8:23, 2 stacked keyboards, modified drum machine, looping delays, The Muse, 1977
2. War Tribe, 1:55, tribal trance before war mixed with synthesizer and echo recorder. Osmose leftover !977
3. 116 GRM, 7:42, 1978 at the GRM studio. Monk Improvises with his (!) stereo guitar and Ariel a toy guitar!
4. Saz Harmo, 5:35, wah wah saz from Turkey tries indian rhythms (!) and a friend learning tablas, 1976
5. Storm On The Lake, 3:44, GRM 1978 (Bosendorfer) a real storm with the stormy piano ‘Ballade sur le lac’
6. Jump Julien, 8:41, improvised in a church, France, 1976, on St Julien du Sault electric wind harmonium
